A keg is the easiest way to serve beer to a crowd, but it needs to be ordered, tapped and returned. Stores that sell kegs usually also rent or sell the tap and help with the paperwork. Every liquor store here names kegs on its own website.

How far ahead should I order a keg?
Call a few days ahead, and earlier for holidays and big sports weekends. Stores often stock popular beers in kegs only on order.
Is there a deposit?
Most stores charge a refundable keg deposit and may ask for a signed form. Ask about the return process when you order.
